Local news

Is there a local news forum or forums for influence? I'd love to see stuff in the news thats going on in the city. That could help spawn plots and RP. Perhaps even using local news from real life? I think some things are going on with some bridges around here for example?

I have not seen anything like that in this game but I have in others. It would be interesting to say the least.

It's possible, but a lot of work. I'm not prepared to do it myself...

Maybe if a volunteer wanted to post local news stories, I'd be ok with that. Who knows it may inspire me to add storyline plots to it etc.

If no one volunteers, then I'll take that to mean that folks are content with things the way they are.

I could post ones I see if I can remember them I suppose. Especially any that have to do with the immediate area as opposed to say the bay area or whatnot unless it sounds super important.

Oh there was a story about some murders in Citrus Heights if anyone can find that.

How about those who read the news in one form or another post it in a thread. That way no one person has to do it all?

A little birdy told me that the ST doesn't care if it's one person or everyone posting articles.

It's my sneaking suspicion, that the ST will just cherry pick what interests him, and create storylines. That he will in no way consider himself obligated to create a storyline from a news article, but may do so if it tickles his fancy.

The ST seems like a very smart person.

The ST talking about himself in third person makes himself sound crazy.

LOL! Well, really...I'm fairly certain it's a requirement in the ST book of life to be slightly crazy.

I have to concur with Dellana. In my professional opinion the ST can only be quantified as "Bat-shit Crazy"

If he happened to have an imaginary friend, then I could upgrade him to "Nuttier than squirrel turds" But alas, I happen to know he is not liked well enough to achieve a friend. Real or Imaginary.

And thus this thread is proof that our ST is crazy...

Snickers to self picturing ST trying to mediate all the personalities on who gets to be out at what time.

I would suggest there be a stickied thread made somewhere so if people choose to do this there's one place the articles get posted instead of them ending up scattered all over the place.
