Game this weekend on the 13th

We are back in town. Where is game going to be this weekend and is it going to start in the afternoon? It sounded like it was a good idea but nothing was confirmed.

As far as I know, game is on, and will be at my place. I think Sam and I are open to starting it earlier, although I'm not 100% on that one. It might be best to start at the usual time, and discuss an earlier start time at game.

With so many needing to leave earlier I was thinking game starting at 3 instead of 4:30. That is just my suggestion though.

3:00 sounds good actually. I can be ready by then.

Just to let you know Jason has somewhere to be by 3 and should be back in town around 6-7. Donald, Dee and I have to leave by 9 to be at work by 10.

As things stand right now, i cant get down to Elk Grove this weekend. Money is really tight for me and i don't get paid again for awhile. I need all my gas to get to and from roseville everyday for work. Working graveyard sucks. I hate sleeping the day away. I cant speak for everyone, but is it possible to have game at my house at next game? besides im interested in meeting the new roommate of Sam and Michelle and i feel bad about not being able to make it again. I'm hoping he will make a good addition to our little grp.

We've got the same fundage issue. With spending last weekend in Vegas (we bought so much we had to buy new luggage just to get stuff home, plus the wedding renewal, and all the costs of just travelling) we're strapped for cash this month. Driving to Elk Grove would be...difficult, to say the least.

We can definitely be at Dave's next weekend though. That's not much of a drive for us

I was wrong about the funeral time. I just found out it is at 11am tomorrow.
If it was for any other relative I would probably skip it because i hate funerals but grandpa was awesome. So i should be available. Can I get the address again pls?

My dad just called, they're having a BBQ at his house tomorrow. My grandparents are staying with him as my grandpa broke his leg a few weeks ago (it's been high drama, with convalescent homes and ERs, and all that.) So we're going to go see them tomorrow and eat BBQ food.

Okay. 14 Sherwill Ct. is the address. But I understand Dave wants to have game at his house. I suppose we can do that. If we do that, the only person not showing up will be James, right? And we'd call game at 9?

That would work, but game can continue after they go to work if u like. Though we can play it by ear.

I feel weird running game at Dave's house when he can't be there. I'd rather stop when he leaves than continue without him. If we have to call the game at 9 either way, I'd rather have it in Elk Grove where I have access to all my resources.

Actually, this equivocating is really getting things confused. So here's the deal.

I'll start game at 2:00 tomorrow at my place,. I will run it every other Saturday from then on out as long as I have two players to participate. If my game isn't worth it to you, then I'll be sad not to have you in it any more. If someone starts a game on the off-Saturdays I would love to be a player. My game will end at 9:00, but we would love to hang out with people afterwards, play cards or board games or just chat.

Just to clear up any confusion i may have caused...game this weekend doesn't look good. Jason will be gone most of the day and i will be napping on and off today due to work. My request is to skip this weekend and pick it up next Saturday on the 20th. I'm sorry for all the hiccups but work comes first. I am only speaking for me at the moment. If anyone has any other input for future game sessions, best it be discussed. My home is still open for those who what to use it. If game is to be held at Sams place, then i will try to make it as often as i can, but no promises. I don't leave the house much these days. Sucks working again...free time? Whats that?!

I will be very disappointed if no one can make it to game today from Dave's place. However, I will still be running game starting at 2, and ending at 9. I already nixed two other activities to host this game. It would be very rude of me to cancel it at this point. I understand that transportation and finances are really tight right now for a lot of you, so my next game will be in two weeks, on the 27th, (at the same time) hopefully that will give you all some time to sort things out.

Just an FYI-James has no problem gaming at Sam's every other week, but because of the extreme distance and gas cost, only wants to attend game if there's going to be more than just him and Michelle as players. As he said, it's not fair to others to advance the game without players, and that's a really long way to drive for what could end up being a shorter game if there aren't the players to make it longer. It would also allow people to carpool, potentially, which would save some on the gas costs.

My suggestion would be to do a headcount the Friday before, or whenever Sam, you're comfortable doing it, so that you don't have to cancel plans if game doesn't come together, as that's not fair to you. And it would allow the other players time to figure out how to get to you house as simply as possible.

Just a thought...

It would actually be him, me, and Keith -- so that's three players, plus the ST, which is easily enough for an exciting game. I know, because for a long time, that's how many people were in my D&D group.

I guess from my end we have seven players counting Keith locally. In this case I wouldnt feel right unless there are four or more players. That in my mind would be fair to everyone. Things are a little tight and car pooling sounds like a good idea. See everyone at Sam's on the 27th.

I think we can have a full crew this weekend. Although I read something about every other weekend? So if we have game I'm going to be there, payday weekend yay. If it's at dave's even better. Keep me posted. If Sam isn't running something but folks still wanna play I will run anything non-vampire for one night. It's a one off though purely for laughs.
